I’m Ai, a member of Yukari KC Community and one of the owners of Level One Game Shop in the River Market.

As of yesterday, we are excited to launch En-nichi, our new Japanese summer festival board game, on Kickstarter!

Inspired by the atmosphere of real matsuri including Kansas City’s own Natsu Matsuri, En-nichi invites players to explore colorful festival stalls, enjoy activities such as shateki, kingyo-sukui, yo-yo tsuri, and mask(omen) collecting, and gather together for fireworks at the end of the evening.

We created En-nichi to share the warmth, excitement, and community spirit of a Japanese summer festival around the game table.

日本の夏祭りの楽しさをご家庭でも

こんにちは。カンザスシティYukari KCの一員であり、リバーマーケットにあるLevel One Game Shopのオーナーの一人でもあるAi（愛）です。

昨日、日本の夏祭りをテーマにしたボードゲーム、『En-nichi』のKickstarterキャンペーンがスタートしました！『En-nichi』は、実際の日本のお祭りや、カンザスシティでも開催されているNatsu Matsuriの雰囲気から着想を得たゲームです。プレイヤーは、射的、金魚すくい、ヨーヨー釣り、お面屋さんなど、夏祭りらしい屋台や遊びを楽しみながら、最後にはみんなで夜空に上がる花火を迎えます。

私たちはこのゲームを通して、日本の夏祭りが持つ楽しさ、温かさ、そして人と人がつながる雰囲気を、ボードゲームという形で多くの方に届けたいと考えています。また、アメリカで育った日本のお子様にも、日本の文化に触れる機会を作れればと思っております。日本文化やボードゲームがお好きな方に、ぜひKickstarterキャンペーンをご覧いただき、ご家族やご友人にもシェアしていただけましたら嬉しいです。
